Düsseldorf, Germany, 27 May 2020: GEA on May 28 will be hosting a webinar to discuss refrigeration technology with natural refrigerants in the context of climate change, the company said through a Press release.

According to the company, the free webinar is open to contractors, consultants, and operators, who will have the opportunity of listening to, and swapping ideas with, industry experts, Professor Michael Kauffeld, PhD, and David Blankley, to learn more about switching their plants from F-Gas systems to environmentally friendly, future-proof, energy-efficient natural refrigerants.

The speakers will explain why natural refrigerants, such as ammonia and CO2 can be used to replace F-Gas refrigeration systems, while being better for the environment, less expensive, more energy efficient, more sustainable and, ultimately, more profitable, the company said. They will also explain how this will help industrial refrigeration plants reduce their use of F-Gases, in line with EU targets, the company said.

According to the release, the webinar will commence at 3pm CET.
