Company says the recognition reflects its commitment to local manufacturing, sustainability and compliance-driven production in the UAE

Dubai, UAE, 13 May 2026: Rheem Middle East has received the Quality & Compliance Award in the Small & Medium Enterprise category at Make it in the Emirates Awards (MIITE) 2026. Making the announcement through a May 13 Press Release, the company said the award recognises its commitment to manufacturing excellence and the development of solutions for the regional market.

Rheem said its Dubai-based manufacturing facility operates under ISO 9001 for quality management, as well as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications. According to the company, the facility manufactures products across multiple lines designed for the regional market.

Rheem said the recognition follows the recent launch of two new production lines at its Dubai manufacturing facility, expanding its Made in the UAE portfolio. The company added that local production reduces shipping requirements and carbon emissions operating on a zero waste-to-atmosphere principle. Rheem said the manufacturing facility also incorporates solar panels that reduce carbon emissions by 275,000 kg, annually.

Rheem said it participated in MIITE 2026 to showcase its Made in the UAE products and solutions developed for the regional market. Rheem said its manufacturing operations focus on production accuracy, consistency and compliance with regional and international standards.

The company said its products are tested for safety parameters relating to air quality, water quality, reliability, earthing, current and electrical strength. Rheem added that the products comply with GCC region regulatory requirements and international industry standards.

Brian Hempenstall, Vice President, General Manager, Rheem Middle East, said: “This award win highlights our commitment to local manufacturing, quality and innovation, and we are proud to be recognised for our cutting-edge products and solutions specifically built for the region, as well as our quality and compliance credentials. At Rheem, we champion manufacturing excellence and sustainability, and aim to provide high-performance solutions to our clients, while ensuring we’re meeting the region’s evolving regulatory and environmental standards.”

Rheem said the MIITE awards 2026 marks its fifth anniversary this year. According to the company, the awards programme serves as a national platform recognising manufacturers and industrial leaders in the UAE while highlighting regional industrial success stories.
