Leminar signs distribution agreement with Georg Fischer to supply piping systems in Kuwait

Company expects the agreement with the Swiss-based company to accelerate growth of its market share in the country

Kuwait City, Kuwait: Leminar Air Conditioning Company, distributor of HVAC and plumbing products, has announced signing a distribution agreement with Switzerland-based Georg Fischer (GF) Piping Systems, for the supply of its range of piping systems in Kuwait. The new agreement, the announcement said, will widen the existing portfolio of international brands for the company.

GF Piping Systems, the announcement stated, manufactures mainly plastic piping systems, such as high-quality pipes, fittings, valves and the corresponding automation and jointing technology for industrial, utilities and building technology sectors. The company, the announcement added, develops tailored piping systems for the treatment and distribution of water as well as for the safe transport of industrial fluids and gases.

Sven Erlandsen, Regional Manager (Middle East) of GF Piping Systems; Navin Valrani, CEO of Leminar and Pramodh Idicheria, General Manager of Leminar, were present at the agreement signing.

“Leminar is committed to delivering quality products to our growing customer base in Kuwait,” said Valrani, and added that it expected the agreement to accelerate growth of GF Piping Systems’ market share in the country.

Explaining how the new agreement would affect GF Piping Systems, Idicheria said, “Leminar’s comprehensive distribution network in Kuwait, our operational capabilities and prompt delivery will help to increase the market share of GF Piping Systems in Kuwait market.”

Founded in 1802, GF Piping Systems is one of the three divisions within Georg Fischer Corporation and has more than 30 manufacturing facilities and research and development centres, with a turnover of EUR 1.4 billion.
