Johnson Controls to present sustainability-driven HVAC innovations at HVACR World 2025

The company said it will participate in HVACR World 2025 to outline its approach to sustainable cooling and integrated building technologies in the MEASA region

DUBAI, UAE, November 20 2025: Johnson Controls said it will take part in HVACR World 2025 from 24 to 27 November 2025 at Dubai World Trade Centre at Stand No – Z5 A61 in Za’abeel Hall 5. Making the announcement through a Press Release, the company said the event is the first in the MEASA region dedicated exclusively to HVACR and that it will bring together industry leaders to explore sector innovation.

Devrim Tekeli, Vice President & General Manager MEA, Johnson Controls said: “Johnson Controls is proud to be part of the inaugural HVACR World where innovation and sustainability converge to reshape the future of our industry.” Tekeli added: “Through our advanced portfolio high-efficiency chillers and variable speed drives to digital platforms we empower our customers to reduce emissions enhance efficiency and advance their sustainability goals with confidence in a changing climate.”

Johnson Controls said cooling remains the region’s defining challenge as electricity demand continues to rise rapidly across the Middle East and North Africa. The company said international and regional studies highlight that cooling is a major driver of peak electricity demand and that system efficiency gaps remain when compared to advanced markets. Johnson Controls said addressing these inefficiencies could significantly reduce peak demand growth and support more sustainable cooling strategies.

Johnson Controls said it will showcase integrated building technologies including its HVAC systems, variable speed drives, building automation platforms and sustainable financing models. In particular, the company added that it will highlight solutions such as the YORK® YVAM chiller, Metasys building automation, ESCO models and Cooling as a Service (CaaS) during the event.

Johnson Controls said its participation reflects its long-standing presence in the Middle East and its role in supporting commercial and infrastructure projects across the region. The company added that its technologies contribute to improving District Cooling efficiency, enabling AI-driven building management and supporting decarbonisation initiatives aligned with national climate strategies. Johnson Controls said that its presence at HVACR World 2025 reinforces its position as a strategic partner in advancing a more sustainable built environment.
