Eurovent Middle East to host workshop on air-handling units

Event to focus on ambient conditions in the GCC region, says official

Dubai, UAE 12 April 2018: Eurovent Middle East will be hosting a workshop on air-handling units (AHU), the association said through a Press communiqué.  The workshop will be held on April 30 at the Le Meridien Dubai Airport Hotel.

According to the communiqué, Martin Lenz, Lead Development Engineer, TROX, and Chairman of Eurovent’s Product Group AHU, would be the keynote speaker at the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Lenz said: “I look forward to joining Eurovent Middle East in Dubai for this essential workshop. It will be an honour for me to introduce state of the art in AHU technology and regulations, and how you can ensure highly efficient operation and good indoor air quality over a product’s lifecycle. We will particularly focus on the ambient conditions in the GCC region and take you through everything that you should know about the heart of the ventilation and air conditioning system.”

According to Eurovent, the AHU workshop is tailor-made for engineering and MEP consultants, investors and planners in the UAE and GCC region, and would cover issues, such as:

  • Fundamentals of air handling units
  • Quality, operation, maintenance, retrofit and life cycle costs
  • Fans, energy recovery, and air filters and their impact on energy efficiency and indoor air quality
  • VRFs combined with fresh air handling units (FAHUs)
  • Eurovent Certified Performance (ECP) certification programme for air handling units, its energy classes, and key performance indicators

Prospective participants can register for the workshop at www.eurovent.me.
