BRUSSELS, Belgium, 20 November 2025: Eurovent and REHVA said the renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) represents a continuation of their long-standing cooperation which began in 1999 and was subsequently improved in 2006 and 2015. Making the announcement through a Press Release, Eurovent said this renewed partnership reflects the strength and longevity of the relationship which both organisations said they aim to deepen further in the coming years.

Mikael Börjesson, Board Member, Eurovent, said: “Our renewed partnership with REHVA underscores our shared mission to create a sustainable and healthy indoor environment for all. Collaboration is key to driving innovation and harmonisation across our industry, and we will continue to promote environmentally friendly and affordable HVAC technologies together.”

Livio Mazzarella, President, REHVA, said: “REHVA represents through its member associations more than 120.000 building service engineers in Europe. They need to have support from the European HVAC industry to achieve their goal of a building sustainable design, as well as our industries need their feedback to improve their products. Only a close cooperation between designers and producers can drive us to a clean and sustainable built environment. This cooperation is just the natural way to respond to this fundamental need.”

Eurovent and REHVA said the renewed partnership will enable continued exchange of technical expertise and coordination on European policy developments. Both organisations said they recognise the critical role of the HVAC industry in achieving Europe’s climate and energy goals and that they will promote best practices contributing to decarbonisation health and energy efficiency of buildings.
