Dubai Properties announces launch of Marasi Business Bay project

Dubai, June 19: Dubai Properties has announced the commencement of work on the new Marasi Business Bay marina, the company said through an official Press communiqué.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdulla Lahej, Group CEO of Dubai Properties, said: “Today marks a significant milestone in the development of the Marasi Business Bay, which is testimony to our commitment of creating destinations that provide exceptional lifestyle experiences for residents and visitors. Located alongside the Dubai Water Canal, the new marina will leverage latest advances in construction and engineering, offering the city a new active urban lifestyle dimension and waterfront destination.” 

Lahej added that the project will feature the country’s first ever water homes and floating restaurants, and the first phase is scheduled for completion by September 2017.

Elaborating on the technology used in the project, Lahej added: “It will be constructed using Seaflex technology, which provides secure moorings even under the worst weather conditions. The stable and secure self-regulating system elongates and retracts in a smooth and even movement according to the water levels.”
