Certification awarded for maintaining Green Building Regulations & Specifications
Dubai, UAE: UAE-based manufacturer of Aerofoam insulation, Hira Industries has been awarded the Dubai Central Laboratory (DCL) quality certification by Dubai Municipality for maintaining Green Building Regulations & Specifications standards across its products and operations, according to a company-issued press communiquè.
Hira Industries, the communiquè said, has been awarded the certification for Aerofoam XLPE & NBR, following a comprehensive assessment of the company’s internal quality control system. The communiquè highlighted that XLPE & NBR is Standard Specification: GBRS Clause 502.11 compliant, and meets the most stringent standards for fire performance and energy-efficient products.
The DCL Product Conformity, the communiquè explained, was developed to enable manufacturers to prove that their products meet the requirements specified by Dubai Municipality according to the Green Building Regulations & Specifications. The standard, the communiquè said, describes the quality assurance, factory assessment and independent testing that must be addressed in order to ensure the conformity of products.
