Dubai, UAE: IMEC Electro Mechanical Engineering has announced that the DESMI Pumps Seminar will be held on September 21, 2016, in Dubai.

According to the announcement, the welcome address will be delivered by Michael Hager, the General Manager of DESMI Middle East. It will then be followed by a technical introduction to DESMI’s products consisting of different types and versions of vertical inline- and end-suction pumps and serviceability of vertical inline pumps, said the announcement.

The seminar, the announcement revealed, will host two panel discussions, covering topics, such as vertical inline-/vertical split-case pumps versus horizontal split-case pumps, using direct-coupled and flexible-coupled pumps, locally assembled pumps versus factory assembled and tested pumps, application of VFD on all pumps, and more. Furthermore, discussion on types of pump testing, different motor types and pumping of different water types will be also held during the seminar, added the announcement.

Muhammed Ali of Marafeq Qatar will deliver a presentation on ‘Hydraulic analysis of liquid/water piping systems for District Cooling’, informed the announcement.
