Deputy Secretary General, Eurovent, to conduct seminar at Chillventa 2018

Nuremberg, Germany, 18 October 2018: Francesco Scuderi, Deputy Secretary General, Eurovent, will conduct an expert seminar in the course of Chillventa 2018, the organisation said in a Press communiqué.

The EU Commission intends to include the publication of the Ecodesign and Energy Labelling measures on commercial refrigeration equipment in the 2018 ‘Winter Package’, the communiqué said. In the course of this seminar, Scuderi, one of the leading European experts in the commercial refrigeration field, will elaborate on the products in the scope of the regulations, related testing methods and technical standards, the communiqué further said. The Ecodesign and Energy Labelling measures will be analysed in detail, the communiqué added.

According to Eurovent, Scuderi will also assess the proposed product’s segmentation on the proposed MEPS and on the Energy Efficiency Classes. The communiqué said the impact of these measures on the products, as well as on the industry, will be assessed during the seminar.
