Daikin opens training centre in Nigeria

LAGOS, Nigeria, 26 September 2022: Daikin opened its first training centre in Nigeria, in partnership with ETIWA TECH LTD/GTE, a non-profit institute providing technical vocational training and manpower development in the country.

Making the announcement through a Press release, Daikin said the opening of the training centre aims to bring knowledge and expertise to build a generation of well-equipped technicians and installers to further the cause of pursuing social corporate responsibility in the country.

Masaaki Miyatake, Chairman & President, Daikin MEA, said: “With the opening of the new training centre, Daikin aims to further develop and respond to the growing needs of the Nigerian market. And we look forward to expanding our expertise in the market and providing eco-friendly high-level air conditioning systems.”

According to Daikin, the localisation strategy focuses on sustainability, IAQ, driving more awareness towards a healthy living environment and introducing new inverter R32 product solutions.
