BSRIA invites feedback on Design Framework for Building Services (BG6) guide

Berkshire, United Kingdom: BSRIA has announced that it is carrying out a review of the current (fourth) edition of its guide, BG 6 Design Framework for Building Services, with a view to possibly publishing a fifth edition in 2017. As part of the process, the association said that it is inviting comments or feedback on BG 6, including current content and also suggestions for other content to be included.

The guide, the association explained, is the industry’s standard document for building services consultants and contractors to help them clarify and define the extent of their design activities, and their design deliverables on any specific project.

BSRIA has said that it will endeavour to take into account the views of all consultees, but cannot promise that all viewpoints will be reflected in the published work. The association has said that comments can be sent to john.sands@bsria.co.uk or david.bleicher@bsria.co.uk by October 21, 2016.
