AEFYT and AFEC to co-organise Eurovent 2018 summit

Spain, June 26: Two Spanish industrial associations, the Association of Cold Companies and their Technologies (AEFYT) and the Air Conditioning Equipment Manufacturers Association (AFEC), have signed a joint agreement with Eurovent to organise the 2018 Eurovent Summit, the association said through a Press communiqué. The event is scheduled to take place in Seville, Spain from September 25 to 28, 2018.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Pilar Budí, Director General of AFEC, said: “The Eurovent Summit is an important international event and the most interesting meeting place for the HVACR industry in Europe. The key focus will be on sustainability, energy efficiency and the use of energy from renewable sources. All issues will be linked to our guiding theme ‘¡Conectividad!’ (connectivity).” 

She further added that the discussions at the event would include critical topics such as the evolution of technology, environmental protection, European legislation, refrigerants and the quality of facilities.

Roberto Solsona, President of AEFYT, added: “We consider the Eurovent Summit as an excellent opportunity to exchange professional experiences while creating synergies between the various stakeholders that shape our HVACR industry. We are going to provide a great space for the creation of new and interesting professional relationships.”
