Will display predictive maintenance and energy usage data solutions

Fluke Corporation, manufacturer of compact electronic test tools, has announced its participation at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference 2013 (ADIPEC) to be held from November 10 to 13 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, and will showcase its products at Stand No: 9452, Hall 9.

According to the announcement, Fluke will introduce CNX Wireless System, claimed to be the world’s first set of tools that wirelessly connects multiple measurement modules sending simultaneous readings to a master device up to 20 metres away; thermal imagers; and its “intrinsically safe (IS)” range of products, reportedly used in the potentially volatile atmospheres of petrochemicals, oil refineries, pharmaceutical industry and other similar environment.

The company emphasised that it would showcase its latest technology in predictive maintenance, as it offered tangible cost-saving solutions over routine or time-based ones, while optimising safety levels.

It highlighted that it would also be displaying products that quantify energy usage data, including identifying the source of waste, as it was in line with its Energy Resource Center, an interactive knowledge base to help facility managers identify and quantify energy waste.

“We look forward to our very first participation in ADIPEC, as a company, said Steve Hood, General Manager, Fluke Middle East, Africa and Turkey, adding that it had participated in the event earlier through partners.

“The Middle East is evolving amid an ultra-competitive world, and no one understands better than Fluke the need to avoid the unpredictable that would cost dearly in terms of time, money, labour force, reputation and production efficiency,” Hood elaborated.
