Chillventa 2026 to feature new hall configuration for expanded display and visitor experience

Chillventa, a trade fair for refrigeration technology, will introduce a new hall layout and add extra exhibition space to improve venue navigation at its 2026 edition, which will be held from 13 to 15 October 2026 at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre

NUREMBERG, Germany, 14 May 2025: Chillventa organiser, NürnbergMesse Group, announced through a Press Release a major update to the trade fair’s hall concept, citing strong exhibitor demand and feedback from a fully booked 2024 edition. According to the organiser, an additional hall –Hall 1– will be included in the 2026 layout to accommodate more exhibitors and larger stands.

Daniela Heinkel, Director, Chillventa, stated: “Chillventa 2024 was a resounding success and was fully booked. The pre-booking phase for 2026 has shown that the original display area does not offer any scope for new exhibitors or larger stands, so we are adding another hall – Hall 1. Therefore the new configuration will provide huge growth opportunities in all segments and makes it easier for all participants to navigate the venue. We are delighted to be developing Chillventa to meet the preferences of our community and reinforcing it as a platform for innovation, dialogue and networking.”

Chillventa 2026 will maintain the existing distribution of key product categories, according to the organiser. Refrigeration technologies will remain in Halls 8 and 9, and air-conditioning ventilation and heat pump technologies will move to Halls 7 and 7A, the organiser added. Refrigeration technologies currently in Hall 7A will shift to Hall 4A, while those in Hall 7 will be relocated to Halls 1 and 4, the organiser said. Product categories in Halls 5 and 6 will be swapped, with Control and Instrumentation (C&I) technology housed in Hall 6 to effectively link refrigeration, air-conditioning and ventilation segments, the organiser elaborated.

The organiser said that these changes aim to enhance the diversity of offerings, improve innovation visibility and optimise visitor flow. The addition of Hall 1 will also complete the visitor circuit through the Eingang Mitte (central entrance).

Upcoming European Heat Pump Summit 2025

As planning continues for Chillventa 2026, NürnbergMesse highlighted another key event for the industry: the European Heat Pump Summit will return to Nuremberg on 28 and 29 October 2025. The organiser said this congress will bring together global experts to discuss market developments, innovations and application trends in the heat pump sector. The summit will include a foyer expo, where manufacturers will showcase new technologies and services, stated the organiser.
