Goodman to supply air conditioners to Awal

Goodman Manufacturing, a US-based maker of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, has announced signing an agreement with Awal Gulf, Bahrain, for the manufacture and supply of air conditioners produced under international standards and approved Goodman specifications for the MENA region. According to the announcement, the agreement was signed between Adel Mattar, Managing Director, Awal Gulf, and Sam Bikman, Senior Vice President, Goodman Manufacturing, at one of Awal’s three manufacturing facilities, located in Bahrain’s Sitra Industrial Area.

Goodman Manufacturing, part of Goodman Global Group, reportedly sells its products through a North American distribution network with nearly 1,000 total distribution points, comprising company-operated and independent distributors. Goodman Manufacturing’s facilities are located at Houston, Texas; Dayton, Tennessee and Fayetteville, Tennessee. Awal Gulf, established in 1970, manufactures and sells its own brand of air conditioners, namely Pearl, Marshal and Universal Air, and also makes other international and regional OEM brands.
