ASHRAE Falcon Chapter’s Regional Conference – Abu Dhabi 2011 will highlight key approaches and outcomes to latest challenges in environment and sustainability
The ASHRAE Falcon Chapter is hosting the Chapter’s Regional Conference (CRC) for ASHRAE Region At Large (RAL) in Abu Dhabi from September 19 to 22 at the Rotana Beach Hotel. The high-profile event is expected to be attended by internationally eminent sustainability scientists, engineers and policy makers.
The annual conference is designed for all regional ASHRAE chapters to connect and discuss issues and challenges that face the heating, refrigeration and air conditioning engineering fraternity. Each chapter will send a delegate as well as a member to attend the conference.
The event is being held under the patronage of H.E. Dr Rashid Ahmad Bin Fahad, Minister of Environment and Water, UAE, under the auspices of the United Nations Environment programme (UNEP). Endorsed by AHRI, the CRC will provide an opportunity for participants and sponsors to show their support to the industry and position themselves as active and integral members of the ASHRAE community.
A unique feature of this year’s CRC is that the ASHRAE Falcon Chapter has invited students from 16 countries and 23 different chapters in the region for a gathering, which will include technical sessions, technical tours, workshops, lectures and panel discussions. The gathering is intended to provide a forum for the dissemination of information pertaining to chapter and regional activities, sharing technical and cultural values and learning leadership principles for a sustainable future.
