Unigulf will distribute Exeed glasswool insulation products

Unigulf Development, has introduced Exeed Glasswool Insulation, claimed to be the only glasswool insulation manufacturer in the UAE employing the latest generation of STM technology from Italy. Exeed Glasswool is a division of Exeed Industries, National Holdings, Abu Dhabi, under the aegis of Glasswool Insulation Technology, and Unigulf is one of the major distributors of Exeed’s products, the company said. It added that the factory, located in the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi (ICAD 1), is slated to start its operations soon, and will have an annual production capacity of 12,000 tonnes of glass-fibre products, such as blankets, boards and pipe insulation. It is equipped to produce insulation in rolls, boards and rigid pipe sections for residential commercial and institutional building services and industrial applications like process equipments and pipelines, meeting international standards and requirements, the company said.

The STM technology will enable the factory to offer a substantial range of products to meet the needs of the region’s markets, said Unigulf.

Asserting that insulation plays an important role in environmental comfort, thermal and noise control and fire safety, it explained that glasswool insulation not only helps conserve energy and lower greenhouse gases, but also reduces operating costs. It added that the insulation materials would be suitable for a wide variety of applications, such as thermal applications, acoustic applications, air conditioning systems, hot and cold pipe works, fire protection equipment, tanks and vessels, boilers, driers and ovens.
