Designed specifically for the Middle East, the new range, by O General, is the region’s first with zero-Ozone-Depleting Score, company says
DUBAI, UAE, 18 September 2021: Ahead of the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer, on September 16, Taqeef said it has launched the region’s first range of inverter ducted split. Making the announcement through a Press release, the company said the new range, by O General, is the first complete line of inverter ducted split models, ranging from 1.5 refrigerated tons (RT) to 5 RT, in the Middle East, with zero-Ozone-Depleting Score (ODS) and with the R32 refrigerant, ensuring a lower carbon footprint.
Specifically created for the Middle East region, the O General inverter range is a leader in cooling capacity, power consumption and low-noise capability, Taqeef claimed. The range conforms to new technical regulations and guidelines issued by the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA) (now merged with the Office of the Minister of State for Advanced Technology, and the Industry sector in the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure to form the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology) and Abu Dhabi Quality Control and Conformity Council (QCC) for high Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) values.
Hadi Ismail, Chief Sales Officer, Taqeef, said, “In a region where cooling is synonymous with quality of life, ensuring that the products we bring to the market are energy efficient has been, and always will be, our main priority. The new O General inverter range has been designed with the harsh climate and real-life operating conditions in the Middle East in mind. It achieves faster and more efficient cooling when compared to conventional air-conditioners, consumes less energy, and offers remarkable energy savings when compared to fixed-speed compressor models.”
The DC inverter technology, Taqeef said, contains a DC fan motor with inverter control system that helps achieve high operational efficiency using a sine wave, and a DC twin rotary compressor. The implementation of the DC twin rotary compressor, the company added, allows for wider operation range, improved piping limitations and the introduction of new simultaneous multi-operation ability.
Taqeef said it will introduce the new range to industry professionals at an event on October 6 in Dubai. The event, the company said, will showcase the indoor and outdoor units of the new range. The indoor unit, it claimed, can deliver fast-cooling, high airflow and superior speed control mechanisms to ensure the ultimate comfortable environment. The outdoor unit, it said, is equipped with the tropical region specifications that withstands temperatures up to 55 degree C, commonly prevalent in harsh desert environments, by using casing coating and blue fin heat exchanger coating. This, the company said, ensures the safety of its equipment, including its electronic side, through the refrigerant-cooled PCB technology. The electronic aspect of the model is optimised using inverter technology, the company said.
The design of the product, Taqeef said, incorporates feature advancements in a smaller chassis size to allow for more space saving and can be installed in new systems or retrofitted to existing systems.
