Spirotech India bags Trane Sustainability Award

Earns honour for laying the ground for “significant energy savings”, company says

BHIWADI, Rajasthan, India, 15 July 2020: LU-VE Group/Spirotech has received the Sustainability Award 2019 in the Global Supplier Award Programme of Trane Technologies, the company said through a Press release.

The Group’s plant, located in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, the release said, received the recognition for its use of natural light for reduction in water consumption and the collection of rainwater for gardening; the installation of solar panels on the roof of the new plant; and for installing automated machines that allow significant energy savings.

Subramaniam Srinivasan, Managing Director, Spirotech, accepted the award from Emily Vesling, Supplier Sustainability Manager, Trane, during a virtual awards ceremony. Vesling congratulated the company on the collaborative spirit with which the data necessary for the preparation of the annual reports on energy consumption, water, waste management and corporate safety were provided, and expressed her thanks for the support received in organising training courses and webinars in 2019, the release said.

Having set very ambitious goals for 2030, Vesling, the release said, declared herself “proud to have Spirotech and LU-VE Group as partners in Trane’s sustainability programmes”, and announced that with this type of support, they aim to reduce total energy consumption by 10% and emissions by one billion tons of CO2 through the products they will sell to their customers.
