Arlington, Virginia, USA, 5 February 2019: AHRI has signed a letter from the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) in support of the adoption of SNAP Rules 20 and 21, with delayed implementation dates, the body said in a Press communiqué.

According to AHRI, the letter calls for regulatory certainty, while noting New York’s need to address short-lived climate pollutant issues. The communiqué said the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and AHRI members Chemours and Honeywell also signed the letter.
