Tangra joins Eurovent Association as Corresponding Member

Tangra, a HVAC equipment manufacturer, is the first Eurovent member from Bulgaria, thus expanding the Association’s footprint throughout Europe, representative says

Brussels, Belgium, 16 December 2018: Tangra, a manufacturer of ventilation, air conditioning and heating equipment, has joined the Eurovent Association as a Corresponding Member, the Association announced in a Press communiqué. Tangra is Bulgaria’s leading locally based manufacturer of HVAC equipment, and the first Eurovent member from Bulgaria, thus expanding the Association’s footprint throughout Europe, the communiqué said.

According to the Eurovent Association, Tangra is a family-owned company, first founded in the late 1930s and re-established in 1989, after several years of private business prohibition in the country. Today, it has its own designer bureau, two industrial enterprises, a commercial centre in Sofia, representative offices in Varna and Bourgas, and a wide-ranging distributors’ network throughout the Black Sea country and Europe, the communiqué said. Its product portfolio includes air-handling units, heat-recovery units, ventilation grilles and diffusers, plate heat exchangers, and centrifugal fans, amongst others.

After the formal approval of the membership, July Armianov, CEO, Tangra, said: “It is an honour for our company to become Corresponding Member of Europe’s leading HVACR industry association. We look forward to contributing to Eurovent’s activities in the area of legislation, standardisation and industry promotion. Together with the Eurovent Association, we aim to increase awareness on European Union Ecodesign legislation of relevance for our industry in Bulgaria.”
