Francesco Scuderi to conduct an expert seminar at Chillventa 2018

Brussels, Belgium, 4 October 2018: Francesco Scuderi, Deputy Secretary General, Eurovent, will conduct an expert seminar, during the trade fair Chillventa 2018, to be held from October 16 to 18, at Nuremberg, Germany, the organisation said in a Press communiqué.

According to Eurovent, the seminar is scheduled to be held on Thursday, October 18, from 2:40 pm to 3:00 pm, at Chillventa, Exhibition Centre, Messezentrum 1.

The communiqué said the EU Commission intends to include the publication of the ‘Ecodesign and Energy Labelling measures on commercial refrigeration equipment’ in the 2018 ‘Winter Package’. The communiqué further said that in the course of the seminar, Scuderi, one of the leading European experts in the commercial refrigeration field, will elaborate on the products in the scope of the regulations, related testing methods and technical standards.  The communiqué also said that Scuderi will assess the proposed product’s segmentation on the proposed MEPS and the energy-efficiency classes. The communiqué added that the impact of these measures on the products, as well as on the industry, will be assessed during the seminar.
