Pennsylvania, USA, 19 March 2018: E Instruments has introduced an upgraded version of the E8500 Plus, an emissions monitoring device that can measure up to 50% CO2 emissions, said Daniel Kelly, Product Manager, E Instruments International.

Speaking on the development, Kelly said: “The E8500 Plus is a complete portable tool for Environment Protection Agency (EPA) compliance-level emissions monitoring and testing. It uses an NDIR (nondispersive infrared) sensor and is ideal for regulatory and maintenance in boilers, burners, engines, turbines, furnaces and other combustion applications. The device also features a new sample conditioning system for low nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide.”

Kelly added that the device includes up to nine gas sensors, automatic data logging software and an internal thermoelectric chiller with automatic condensate removal.
