Sustainable residential community to come up in Abu Dhabi’s Masdar City

LEAD and The National Investor are collaborating for the project

Abu Dhabi, UAE: According to a report in the Emirates News Agency’s (WAM’s) website, LEAD Development and Project Management Consultants (LEAD) and The National Investor (TNI) to reportedly “build the first residential community of private “green” villas and townhouses at Masdar City”.

According to the report, the project will cover an area of 250,000 square metres of GFA, and will include apartments to accommodate nearly 5,000 residents that will be open to UAE and foreign national investors. The project, to be located in the southern district of Masdar City’s Free Zone, will meet 3 Pearl rating in accordance with Estidama. It added that the project will be completed by 2022.

The report quoted Abdullah M Mazrui, Chairman of TNI, as saying, “LEAD and TNI will work with the Masdar team to deliver a project in line with Abu Dhabi’s regulations for sustainable, water and energy efficient real estate developments.”
