LG Electronics Gulf to soon introduce residential air solutions equipped with inverter technology

Company says the technology improves the energy efficiency of air conditioners

Dubai, UAE: Stating that an estimated 60-70% of residential and commercial energy consumption in the Gulf countries is used for air conditioning, LG has announced introducing inverter technology in its portfolio of residential air conditioning solutions to improve energy efficiency.

According to the company, when compared with conventional air conditioning solutions, inverter technology can control cooling appropriately based on the ambient temperature, in addition to achieving strong performance levels while, at the same time, cutting back on the amount of electricity being used.

Furthermore, the company said that LG inverter technology reduces energy consumption by cooling down the air faster so that the required temperature is reached more quickly as against traditional air conditioners that consume a lot of energy while they operate.

“Users feel better about doing their part to achieve more eco-friendly lifestyles, but they also get the enjoyment of seeing lower electricity bills each month,” said Yong Geun Choi, President of LG Electronics Gulf. “This is win-win. It also explains the appeal of LG air conditioning products, and by extension, it also explains how a multinational corporation can put its focus on environmental protection while still achieving economic growth.”

He added: “We understand the importance of reducing energy consumption for Gulf consumers, and we’ve designed our latest energy efficient air conditioners to drastically reduce energy intake. We look forward to introducing the next-generation of LG air solutions with inverter technology that will continue focusing on creating value for our consumers.”

LG Electronics Gulf said that it will launch its complete portfolio of residential air solutions equipped with inverter technology during Q1 of 2017.
