Brussels, Belgium: The Eurovent association and Reed Exhibitions Italia, the organiser of Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE), have announced signing a wide-ranging cooperation agreement. With the agreement, Eurovent said that it has become the ‘official partner association’ of the event, whose 41st edition is scheduled to take place in March 2018, in Milan.

The announcement said that during the event, companies in the HVACR and energy efficiency sectors gather and showcase the latest technologies, solutions and systems for smart buildings in commercial, industrial and domestic residential sectors. The event, taking place at the Fiera Milano fairgrounds every second year, constitutes the gateway to Europe’s HVACR market and technologies, said the announcement, and added that it attracts more than 2,000 exhibitors and 150,000 visitors from across the globe.

As a part of the agreement, Eurovent said that MCE is going to become a key supporter of the 2016 Eurovent Summit, which will be held in Poland’s Krakow from September 27 to 30, 2016. During the Summit, participating manufacturers will have the opportunity to liaise with the MCE team and substantiate their arrangements for the 2018 MCE show, it added.

“We are honoured to welcome Eurovent as [the] official partner association of the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort,” said Massimiliano Pierini, Managing Director of Reed Exhibitions Italia. “Having received the support of Europe’s leading HVACR manufacturers’ associations underlines the global importance of our exhibition as a flagship event for the European market.”

Alex Rasmussen, President of Eurovent, added: “Since its very first edition, Eurovent members have been participating in the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort. After a very successful 40th edition this year, with our Italian member association ANIMA playing a leading role, we are happy to take our cooperation to the next level and to become official partner association, inviting our vast European and international network to join us in Milan in 2018.”
