Launched in partnership with Tejari, the new portal will facilitate supplier on-boarding, says the company
Abu Dhabi, UAE: Aldar Properties has announced the launch of a new online e-Procurement portal – BravoAdvantage, in partnership with Tejari, a strategic procurement company.
The platform, the announcement said, will enable Aldar to automate routine procurement tasks and facilitate supplier on-boarding, allowing the Group’s procurement team to reallocate resources to focus on more strategic and valuable supply management activities. The portal, the announcement added, also supports Aldar’s commitment to maintaining consistent, strategic engagement with its supplier community in order to enhance its registration process visibility.
“Aldar is a significant contributor to developing and reshaping the fabric of urban life in Abu Dhabi in line with the vision of the Emirate,” said Nader Saleh Al Awlaqi, Executive Director of Procurement at Aldar Properties. “As such, it is important that we continue to set new standards for our performance, which contributes in facilitating the suppliers’ registration and evaluation functions and contract operations.”
Richard Hogg, CEO at Tejari, added: “Forward thinking organisations such as Aldar Properties recognise the tremendous impact procurement can make on an organisation’s overall growth and profitability. By adopting a transformative approach to procurement, Aldar will be able to unlock procurement’s full power and drive excellence that will shape the direction of the organisation.”
Aldar Properties revealed that Tejari played a key role in the implementation of the application and providing end-user training and support to the company to ensure the successful adoption of the platform across the organisation.
