Carel appoints Swegon as its distributor for Germany

Manheim, Pennsylvania: Air humidification solutions company, Carel has announced that Swegon Germany is its new exclusive distributor for Germany. Its humidification products, the company said, will be distributed by Swegon under the "AirBlue" brand. The exclusive agreement, the announcement said, does not cover sales to German OEM customers, who will continue to be served directly by Carel Deutschland. It added that the subsidiary also retains responsibility for sales in Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Commenting on the development, Carlo Bertelé, Business Development Manager (Climate), at Carel, said: “We are very pleased to welcome this important new partner, and with the cooperation and support of Carel Deutschland, we expect rapid development of the German humidification market. The German market is the biggest in Europe, and Swegon Germany has the experience, approach, and sales and service organisation to make this partnership a success.”
