BW Businessworld to host Internet of Things Expo 2016

Event seeks to explore new trends, how to overcome challenges and to accelerate adoption of IoT devices, networks and applications

New Delhi, India: BW Businessworld, a fortnightly India-based business magazine, has announced that it will be holding the Internet of Things (IoT) Expo 2016 on March 11 in Gurgaon. It said that the event intends to set the benchmark for the deployment of the Internet of Things systems in the Indian industry.

According to the announcement, the Expo (www.iotexpoindia.com) aims to bridge the gap between technology and industry. The event reportedly will showcase advance technologies and software of the future, with a collaboration of industry leaders.

Some of the core themes to be covered at the Expo include: Security challenges, defining the role of big data analytics and visualisation in IoT, optimising mobile networks for IoT, and new IoT business models and monetisation.

Commenting on the announcement, Annurag Batra, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, BW Businessworld, said: “I believe that 2016 will mark a turning point in the IoT industry. Our aim is to accelerate the adoption of IoT by bringing together leading practitioners and authorities, to share their experiences and best practices in developing, launching and operating IoT devices, networks and applications, and to discuss solutions to overcome critical challenges inhibiting mass global uptake.”
