World IEQ Forum 2016 announces VIP speaker line-up; “unprecedented”, say the organisers

H.E. Dr Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment; Sheikh Dr Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin J. Al-Thani, Director of Public Health, Ministry of Public Health, Qatar and Joseph G Allen, Assistant Professor, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health & Director, Healthy Buildings, Harvard Center for Health and the Global Environment, are among the key speakers at the conference.

Dubai, UAE: With less than a week left before the World IEQ Forum 2016 opens its doors, the organisers, CPI Industry have announced the VIP speaker line-up for the daylong conference. Scheduled to take place on October 26 at Al Murooj Rotana, the conference will run on the theme calling for support for transformation to a sophisticated IEQ regime and implementation of broad-based IEQ strategies.

To date, the conference has attracted several industry experts and high-profile speakers, who will meet to discuss the compelling need to address IEQ-related issues that lead to sick building syndrome and building-related illnesses.

Speaking on what she expects out of the Forum, Al Abdooli, said: “Improving indoor environmental quality will substantially contribute to the UAE’s mission of raising the level of happiness and wellbeing among people in the country and around the world.

This year, the Forum will extensively focus on the residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare and education sectors and will showcase regional and international case-studies to highlight success stories to prove that it is possible to construct and maintain healthy buildings in a cost-effective manner.
