Companies chosen to address seven key challenges in healthcare, education, transportation, infrastructure, renewable energy and digital transformation
Dubai, UAE: Cardiff, United Kingdom-based refrigeration and cooling technology company, Sure Chill, has announced being selected to be part of the Dubai Future Accelerators programme. The Dubai government-backed programme, the announcement highlighted, has chosen just 30 companies out of 2,500 entries from around the world to collaborate in creating a better future.
The 12-week programme, the announcement said, has been designed to identify emergent technologies and businesses with the potential to address the world’s current and future problems. It added that the world’s most innovative companies have been selected to address seven key challenges in healthcare, education, transportation, infrastructure, renewable energy and digital transformation.
“With the Dubai Future Accelerators, our mission is to turn the future, which was once a theoretical concept, into a reality in which Dubai can position itself as a global leader,” said H.E. Saif Al Aleeli, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Future Foundation. “We are excited to see how some of the world’s most innovative companies and entrepreneurs collaborate with our government entities to create solutions that will transform the future of Dubai, and possibly the world.”
Saying that the company is delighted to participate in the programme, Nigel Saunders, Vice President of Sure Chill, added: “By the end of the 12 weeks, we hope to announce a significant partnership within Dubai across multiple sectors, including government entities. The story of Dubai fits with Sure Chill’s big thinking and we are excited about the prospects; this is all about working on tomorrow’s world.”
Taking part in the Dubai-led programme, the company said, accelerates the development of Sure Chill’s technology and organisation by working with some of the world’s most innovative start-ups.
