Company representative points to penetration in Europe and GCC region
Istanbul, Turkey, 25 March 2018: Speaking on the subject of valves, Alkım Gür, Sales and Marketing Director, Dikkan Group, said Turkish manufacturers are one of the main producers in the global market. “Maybe not in America,” he explained, “but for Europe, the GCC region and Asian market, Turkish manufacturers [have been present] for 20-30 years.” Gür added that owing to this, Turkish brands enjoy strong familiarity in the global market.
Further elaborating on the competitive advantage of Turkish manufacturers, Gür said the biggest advantage is that the labour cost for products requiring human input is competitive, especially in comparison with those from the East. Additionally, he said, certification is a strong aspect of many Turkish brands.
