Systemair to supply to Istanbul’s new airport

Company to supply air-handling units and fan-coil units

Skinnskatteberg, Sweden: Ventilation company, Systemair has announced receiving an order to supply 531 Model FL NG series air-handling units (AHUs) and 5630 fan-coil units (FCUs), of a value of approximately EUR 9.5 million, to the new airport under construction in the Arnavutköy district in Istanbul.

The new airport, the announcement said, is said to be one of the largest-ever infrastructure projects in the Turkish Republic, where flights to more than 350 destinations will take place. The project, the announcement added, will be staged in four phases, and the first new airport phase will be opened during 2018.

Ayça Eroglu, Managing Director of Systemair (Turkey), said: “We are proud to be selected to deliver to this largest ever infrastructure projects in the Turkish Republic. This new order confirms that our customers have confidence in our quality and reliability.”
