Solar technologies to be spotlighted for the first time at the event, says organiser
For the first time, solar technologies would be spotlighted at The Big 5 2017, the organisers said through a Press communiqué. Alongside the exhibition, educational talks covering various topics related to the construction industry would also be organised.
The event will run from November 26 to 29, at the World Trade Centre, Dubai, and is being organised by dmg events Middle East, Asia & Africa.
According to the communiqué, the Expo 2020 and Hyperloop Transportation Technologies are among the 2500 exhibitors that would be showcasing their technologies at the event.
Josine Heijmans, Portfolio Event Director of the Big 5, said: “The upcoming edition of the event will mark a turning point in the construction industry, setting the way to build better, more efficiently, and develop smart, sustainable cities.
“We’re extremely proud to announce that The Big 5 2017 will gather some of the most brilliant and forward-thinking minds from around the globe to discuss the present and even more the future of construction. Heijmans further added that on November 28, the GAIA Awards would be presented to the most sustainable construction product of the year.
