Spirotech, part of the Lu-VE Group, earns honour for its consistent improvement in quality-related KPIs by using operational excellence and quality improvement tools, says company’s representative
Davidson, North Carolina, USA, 14 February 2019: Indian Spirotech Heat Exchangers, a company that was acquired at 95% by the LU-VE Group, in September 2016, won the ‘Ingersoll Rand Supplier Quality Award’ for its consistent improvement in quality-related KPIs by using operational excellence and quality improvement tools, the latter company said in a Press communiqué.
Ingersoll Rand has been committed to sustainable practices that can guarantee an improvement in air quality and energy efficiency, the communiqué said. Each year it awards its partner-suppliers prizes for Sustainability, Innovation and Value Creation, Continuous Improvement, Go the Extra Mile and Supplier Quality, the communiqué further said.
The communiqué said the award ceremony took place in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. The communiqué further said that Subramaniam Srinivasan, Chief Executive Officer, Spirotech and Michele Ampezzan, Commercial Director Sales Business Unit, LU-VE Components, received the award, from John Evans, Vice President Global Procurement, Ingersoll Rand.
The communiqué said that David Doom, Director Supplier Quality and Development – EMEA Ingersoll Rand, mentioned the motivations that lead to the award: high quality of products in continuous and constant improvement, proactiveness and, last but not least, the impressive speed of delivery times.
