Dubai, UAE: Schneider Electric has announced hosting a delegation from the University of Southern California (USC) in early March 2017 at its offices in Dubai.

Schneider Electric, the announcement said, is one of the five companies in the UAE that have been collaborating with graduate students at the Marshall School of Business at USC, on field projects exploring emerging issues as part of an experiential MBA programme.

The course, the company revealed, is developed and taught by Omar El Sawy, Kenneth King Stonier Professor of Business Administration at USC, and focuses on digital business strategies for sustainability in dynamic environments. Furthermore, it said that since January 2017, a team of five MBA and MS students from the course has been working remotely with Schneider Electric under the direction of Noel Aoun, the company’s Director of Strategy and Business Development for the Gulf region, to tackle various sustainability challenges.

Schneider Electric said that its Gulf leadership team, headed by Caspar Herzberg, MEA President, and Hanan Darwish, Cluster President for Gulf and Pakistan, met with the entire class of 26 participants in Dubai to brief them on the company’s focus on innovation, as well as its energy and sustainability strategies in the region.
