Official says company is investing in smart drawings in anticipation of global trends
Istanbul, Turkey, 22 April 2018: Revit is gaining popularity in Turkey, said Can Kagan, Export Sales and Marketing Manager, BVN Ventilation Systems and Electrical Motors, based on his observations of the local market. Kagan said he believes the uptake of the building information modelling software will be significant in next five to 10 years, locally and abroad. Though it is still in the development stage, Kagan said, BVN has made a move to work with one of only five Revit drawers in all of Turkey to develop smart drawings for its products.“That is the future of the mechanical contracting companies,” he said. “We are getting ready for the future right now.”
Through the programme, Kagan said, customers can select the product and integrate the systems in the building management software to check the overall system prior to purchasing. This, Kagan said, is not only for fans but for all aspects of the building, allowing people to better assess the electricity, efficiency, air flow, and power consumption. Kagan added, “You will see through that programme if that particular product is exactly matching your needs.”
