Ras Al Khaimah Municipality offers patronage to MEBAM 2020

Director General and other senior officials from the Municipality confirm their participation as speakers in region’s first dedicated Building Asset Management conference

DUBAI, UAE, 24 December 2019: Ras Al Khaimah Municipality has offered its patronage to the 1st Annual Middle East Building Asset Management Conference (MEBAM), on February 24, 2020, in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. H.E. Munther Mohammed bin Shekar, Director General, Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, will be giving the Keynote Address on the topic, “The energy vision of Ras Al Khaimah, and a role for smart buildings”.

Organised by CPI Industry, publishers of Climate Control Middle East magazine, the conference will host other senior officials from the Municipality. Andrea Di Gregorio, Director, Energy Efficiency and Renewables Administration, Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, will be giving the Plenary Address, titled “Ras Al Khaimah Municipality’s Energy Efficiency and Renewables (EE&R) Strategy 2040, and the digital scope of improving building performance across the entire portfolio of existing buildings and new construction in the Emirate”. Henrique Pereira, Senior Manager – Energy Services, Energy Efficiency and Renewables Administration, Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, will be among the key participants in a Plenary Discussion that will aim to understand the challenges and benefits of making the shift to IoT- and AI-based solutions in Ras Al Khaimah. The discussion will also endeavour to ascertain key expectations developers, FM professionals, ESCOs, EACOs, consultants and contractors have out of digital solutions providers.
