Doha, Qatar: Qatar Cool’s third District Cooling plant (DCP 3) in Doha’s West Bay area will be ready for operation by June 2016, revealed Mohannad Khader, VP Commercial at Qatar Cool.
DCP 3 is a LEED-certified facility, Khader said, adding that it will contribute to a reduction in the consumption of energy. The plant will have a cooling capacity of 35,000 tonnes of refrigeration (TR) and 25,000 tonne-hours of thermal energy storage.
