Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division gets new vice president for Quality Assurance

Gary Nettinger will manage quality processes in engineering design, manufacturing and delivery, among other responsibilities

Suwanee, Georgia: The Cooling & Heating Division of Mitsubishi Electric US has announced the promotion of Gary Nettinger to vice president of Quality Assurance.

In his new role, Nettinger, the announcement elaborated, is responsible for overseeing a team that continuously works to improve product offerings and services provided to the customer and end-user; in addition to providing support and assistance to the quality assurance team, which is made up of five departments: Quality Assurance, Technical Services, Customer Care Centre, Resolution Services and Applications. Nettinger, the announcement said, will manage quality processes in engineering design, manufacturing and delivery; warranty processes; application guidance of product offerings and customer service staffing and requests.

Nettinger is said to have nearly 30 years of experience in the industry, previously serving as senior director, OEM and Engineered Solutions at Mitsubishi Electric, where he oversaw the sale of HVAC compressors to US-based original equipment manufacturers (OEM). Furthermore, the company revealed that he led the design and implementation of advanced building controls systems and provided application sales support to industry constituents. Nettinger also served in various senior-level applied product sales and customer support positions for several other leading HVAC brands, the company added.

Commenting on Nettinger’s appointment, Mark Kuntz, Senior Vice President of Mitsubishi Electric US, Cooling & Heating Division, said, “With his proven track record of supporting Mitsubishi Electric’s production and manufacturing processes, Gary is integral to leading the expansion of our quality assurance function, providing the highest level of service from product design through product end-of-life.”
