The 5th edition of the Climate Control Awards to focus on the adoption and sustainability of an inter-connected approach in all assignments

Front-runners in HVACR, construction, real estate and government will congregate at the Godolphin Ballroom at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai, on November 23 to celebrate distinction in the HVACR industry in the region, as part of the 5th Annual Climate Control Awards ceremony.

The Awards, launched in November 2011 by Climate Control Middle East magazine (CPI Industry), recognises and honours HVACR companies in the region that display cutting-edge qualities in pushing the barrier on technology and offering beyond-the-call-of-duty service to their customers, whilst being aligned with best practices.

The 2015 Awards, under the theme, ‘Inter-connected in thought and execution’, will spotlight a unified approach towards projects by manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, consultants and utility providers across a broad spectrum of categories, including district cooling, standalone air conditioning systems, refrigeration & building performance (air movement, ventilation, IEQ and fire safety). Judges chosen from the public sector and from the industry in the region, and working in close association with KPMG, have selected the winners, to be revealed during the ceremony this evening.

Speaking on KPMG’s association with the Awards initiative, Faraz Said, Associate Director, Infrastructure Deal Advisory at KPMG, said, “The HVAC industry is an important sector and in the future will have an increasingly critical role to play in the development of a sustainable economy. That we have received so many innovative and inspiring entries in this year’s awards, demonstrates the industry is rising to the challenge. KPMG is proud to support CPI magazine in recognizing the talents of the industry.”

“At CPI Industry, we are very proud of our track-record of objectivity and fairness, which the Awards ceremony has come to embody,” said B Surendar, the Editorial Director & Associate Publisher of CPI Industry. “These virtues have been highly influential in cementing the lofty status the Awards ceremony enjoys.”

Based on the core values of substance, relevance and truth, the Awards initiative has attracted the support and endorsement of numerous industry associates. With LG as Platinum Sponsor, the Awards evening will bring together the crème-de-la-crème of the HVACR industry and promises to live up to its sterling reputation.
