Dubai, UAE, 13 August 2018: GHP Quality Consultants, a Quality Management consulting firm in Food Safety, HACCP and ISO Quality Management Services, announced it has recently been accredited with the quality management certificate ISO 17025, via a Press communiqué.

Commenting on the development, Dr M Pandian, Managing Director, GHP Group, said: “Until June this year, we could only conduct microbiological tests on water, food and metals, while monitoring environment and air quality. But the accreditation of ISO 17025 has increased our scope of conducting chemical tests across 43 parameters.”

Elaborating on the equipment used to carry out the tests, Pandian said, “Our machinery uses the Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICT-OES) technology to detect chemical elements in air, food, water and metals.” He added, “ICT-OES is a very advanced technology, which enables us to analyse the shelf life of food, along with an in-depth analysis of its nutritional value.”

According to GHP, in the last one year alone, the company has spearheaded over 300 projects and has over 1,000 clients in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Jordan. While highlighting these projects, Pandian said, “From stack monitoring, Environmental Risk Assessment, to Air Quality Management, we have always been front runners with regard to industrial ISO and quality consultants.” He added, “Since receiving the accreditation in June, we have carried out over 100 samples of chemical testing and are planning to invest in more equipment to meet work pressure.”
