Will provide advice on technology decisions and ecosystem development, says company representative
Dubai, UAE, 12 March 2018: Gartner will be partnering with the Dubai Government on the Smart Dubai initiative, said Bettina Tratz-Ryan, Research Vice President, Smart Ecosystems and Cities, Gartner.
Speaking on the development, Tratz-Ryan said, “We will be working in an advisory role with H.E. Dr Aisha Bin Bishr, Director General, Smart Dubai Office, on data governance, ecosystem development, and how to make it a win-win situation for all.”
She further said that Gartner could influence technological decisions, in terms of helping to understand the maturity of solutions like artificial intelligence and block chain, fostering relationships with ecosystem vendors and contribute to creating diverse platforms, for those who are willing to innovate with the government to implement smart services.
