Eurovent to release Second Edition of Evaporative Cooling Guidebook
DUBAI, UAE, 22 October 2025: The HVACR Next Generation Congress, on October 28 in Riyadh, will showcase several key industry milestones such as the launch of the dedicated product certification for high-ambient temperatures and the release of the second edition of the Evaporative Cooling Guidebook by Eurovent Middle East which was first published in 2021.
Making the announcement through a Press Release, Eurovent said the use of water in cooling processes is as old as mankind yet may provide challenges in notoriously dry environments faced in the region. The dedicated guidebook, developed with members of the association, compiles the most essential information on evaporative cooling, to provide consultants, developers, building operators and investors with a concise yet comprehensive reference to this technology, Eurovent said. This is also the first Middle East-specific guidebook to be published by the Association, Eurovent added.
Highlighting the importance of industry resources, Nerissa Deoraj, Executive Director, Eurovent Middle East, said: “Market education, awareness raising and thought leadership have always formed a core value of the Association. Resources, such as industry recommendations and guidebooks, can address some of the knowledge gaps by providing neutral, technical industry guidance, which ultimately can help support the improvement of technical competence in the industry and region. The Congress provides the perfect platform to showcase the valuable technical resources published under the Eurovent repertoire.”
According to Eurovent, the 2nd Middle East Industry Congress – ‘HVACR Next Generation: Sustainability in extreme climates’ will showcase key aspects of sustainability, the refrigerant transition, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), decarbonisation and the financial benefits related to Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) as well as presentation segments featuring Sustainability Case Studies and a NextGen Technology Forum.
