Eurovent announces webinar on quality criteria for AHUs

Association says the free webinar will take place on December 5

BRUSSELS, Belgium, 7 November 2023: Eurovent announces Quality Criteria for Air Handling Units: Industry Recommendation, a webinar in which the members will present the Eurovent Industry Recommendation on the quality criteria for air-handling units. Making the announcement through a Press release, Eurovent said the webinar will take place on December 5.

Eurovent said this webinar is tailor-made for end users, building owners, facility managers, designers, architects, commissioning engineers, contractors, installers, planners, specifiers and consultants from around the globe. The core aim, Eurovent added, is to dive deep into a comprehensive overview of features that determine highly efficient operation and correct service of air-handling units.

The webinar, Eurovent said, will address a wide range of aspects, such as properties of the casing and individual components, energy efficiency and controls requirements, maintainability, and the content of technical documentation. Eurovent further said the guidelines presented in this webinar are intended to help investors, designers and end-users assess whether the unit meets all practical expectations and requirements.

According to Eurovent, the webinar will include expert presentations on topics such as:

  • Guidance on the use of the Eurovent Recommendation on Quality Criteria for Air Handling Units
  • Good practices for accessibility, assembly, energy efficiency, durability and maintainability of Air Handling Units
  • What to focus on to invest well and ensure a long life span of an Air Handling Unit

The individual presentations, Eurovent said, will be followed by a moderated Q&A session, where participants are invited to stir discussion on related issues. Eurovent further said the webinar will be aired internationally on December 5 from 2:30 pm to 3:15 pm (Brussels Time), and the registration for the webinar is free.
