ENGIE to be First Ambassador of France’s Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

The company will showcase its solutions to transform energy use and its work towards sustainable mobility, says representative

La Défense, France, 7 February 2019: ENGIE will be the First Ambassador of France’s Pavilion, at Expo 2020 Dubai, showcasing the company’s solutions to transform energy use and its work towards sustainable mobility, the company announced in a Press communiqué.

The UAE’s Expo 2020 Dubai, to be held from October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021, will be themed ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’ and based around three interwoven subthemes of opportunity, mobility and sustainability, the communiqué said. During Expo 2020 Dubai, the mission of France’s Pavilion is to promote French heritage, with all its human, philosophical, artistic, cultural and entrepreneurial wealth, as well as present its innovative science and technologies, the communiqué further said.

According to ENGIE, throughout the 24 weeks of the Expo, the Group will present its many technological innovations to support sustainable cities and connected environments. These digitally enabled solutions are revolutionising energy use and working towards cleaner, connected, autonomous and shared mobility, the communiqué said.
