Dubai, UAE, 6 November 2018: The Green Economy, more than anything else, is about engagement, said Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi, Executive Director, Dubai Science Park and Chairing Member, Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Taskforce, Dubai Industrial Strategy 2030. In recognition of this, Janahi said the next instalment of the Green Leadership Series, to be held on November 6, will focus on youth engagement. Collaboration among stakeholders, not only with the youth but also through public and private sector partnerships and universities, will pave the way for a circular economy, Janahi added.

Speaking on recent developments within Dubai Science Park, Janahi said they have recently celebrated the delivery of two new towers, which reinforces the commitment to build as per industry requirements. “Infrastructure is probably 40% of what we do,” Janahi added. “The remaining is really about activating industry, engaging with students, with government, with the private sector and really talking about what we can do to make Dubai a Green Economy. We are in a unique situation because we are like a conduit between all of these things.”
