The Conference featured an agenda full of professional events, including dialogue sessions, panel discussions, training and educational workshops, and specialised seminars for the participating international delegations.

Bin Shafar said: “ASHRAE Expo is a good opportunity to strengthen alliances with the company’s international partners, as Empower is keen to enhance its role in contributing to achieving the goals of strategies and initiatives that guarantee sustainable development through various means, including partnerships and agreements with many global organizations and institutions.” He explained that over the past years, Empower, in collaboration with ASHRAE, successfully launched two international manuals related to District Cooling, which were hailed in many countries around the world, especially as they provide a roadmap for designing high-efficient and environmentally friendly buildings. The two manuals, Bin Shafar said, also contribute to the development of building designs to be effectively compatible with District Cooling systems.

Bin Shafar stressed that participation in the Expo was a step towards facilitating the adoption of latest technologies used in designing buildings, pathways to zero energy emissions and decarbonisation, refrigerants and thermal storage.
