The sensors feature a microelectromechanical systems element with a low-cost over-moulded package, says company’s representative
San Jose, California, USA, 7 January 2019: DunAn Sensing will be introducing its new MO series of low-cost pressure sensors at the AHR Expo 2019, to be held from January 14 to 16, 2019, at the Georgia World Congress Center, in Atlanta, Georgia, the company announced in a Press communiqué. The design of this device that features a microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) element with a low-cost over-moulded package eliminates the use of ‘O-rings’, which have historically been prone to be the cause of product failure, the communiqué said. It was specifically created to address applications for OEM low-cost pressure measurement of harsh media, including heat pumps, commercial/industrial air conditioning and industrial refrigeration, the communiqué said.
The communiqué said Gary Winzeler, VP Sales and Marketing, DunAn Sensing, will deliver a presentation on the topic ‘Refrigerant Pressure Transducer specifically designed for hermetically sealed HVAC/R without O-rings’, on Wednesday, January 16, at 11:15 a.m., at Theater A-Room C101.
